Anyone can sell you a truckload of wood off Facebook. What they can’t sell you is a guaranteed dry, clean burn. We dry every batch in our kiln for 46 hours at 255°F, bringing it down to roughly 10–15% moisture. That heat does two things a seasoned pile can’t: it kills the bugs and disease living inside the wood — including emerald ash borer, so you’re not carrying pests into your yard — and it gives you wood that lights fast, burns hot, and smokes far less.
